Bulandshahr (UP), May 27 A court here has sentenced four people to life imprisonment for killing a fruit vendor here in 2017.
Additional District and Sessions Judge/Fast Track Court-I Shivanand on Tuesday convicted Babloo, Hasrat, Hamid and Shama and also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 on each one of them, Additional District Government Counsel (Criminal) Chandrabhan said.
According to the prosecution, the case was registered on the complaint of one Rahisa, who had stated that her son Shanu was selling fruits near a culvert when the four shot him dead on April 1, 2017.
The complainant had also stated that Shanu had earlier received threats to his life.
