Patna, Jun 15 Seven new judges were sworn in at the Patna High Court on Monday, taking the total strength to 44 against the sanctioned strength of 53.
Chief Justice Meenakshi Madan Rai administered the oath of office to the judges at a ceremony attended by, among others, Rajya Sabha MP Manan Mishra, who is also the chairman of the Bar Council of India.
While Justices Ranjan Kumar Jha, Kumar Manish and Raj Kumar have been appointed as HC judges, Justices Rana Vikram Singh, Vikash Kumar, Girijesh Kumar and Alok Kumar have become additional judges.
