Delhi High Court Directs NTA to Accept Affidavit as NEET-UG 2019 Scorecard for FMGE Application

Court Dispenses with Physical Scorecard Requirement for Suhana K N’s FMGE December 2025 Session and Future Exams

In a significant relief to a medical aspirant, the Delhi High Court has directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to accept an affidavit and court order as the NEET-UG 2019 scorecard for Suhana K N’s Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) application. The order, passed by Justice Sachin Datta, dispenses with the necessity of furnishing the physical scorecard for the FMGE December 2025 session and subsequent exams.

Suhana K N, the petitioner, faced difficulties in submitting her NEET-UG 2019 scorecard for the FMGE application due to the absence of a physical copy. Represented by advocates Mr. Yatharth Rohila, Mr. Nihal Singh Shekhawat, Mr. Kanak Kaushal, and Mr. Aniketa Rohila, Suhana sought the court's intervention for urgent relief.

The court relied on prior similar orders where relief was granted under similar circumstances. The decision aligns with the orders passed in W.P.(C) 11630/2025, W.P.(C) 11595/2025, and W.P.(C) 19183/2025, ensuring consistency and fairness in addressing such issues. In these cases, the court had permitted the use of affidavits and court orders in lieu of physical scorecards for FMGE purposes.

Justice Datta emphasized the importance of consistency in judicial decisions, thereby upholding the principle of fairness. The court directed the NTA and the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to accept the affidavit dated 26.12.2025, containing the petitioner’s NEET-UG 2019 details, as a valid scorecard. This order facilitates the processing of Suhana’s FMGE application and the issuance of her admit card.

The judgment underscores the court's commitment to preventing irreparable harm to the petitioner’s medical career, ensuring that administrative hurdles do not impede her professional progress.

Bottom Line:

National Testing Agency directed to treat affidavit and court order as NEET-UG 2019 scorecard for petitioner's FMGE application, dispensing with physical scorecard requirement.
